WebCampaigning for change. Clients’ stories provide insight into the problems faced by people in the UK today. We use these experiences to campaign for positive change. We conduct research and deliver campaigns on many issues of interest to local citizens. For example debt, housing, benefits, immigration, employment, legal matters and health. WebCitizens Advice helps people with mental health problems on a daily basis. It is the number one health issue for our clients nationally and our research recently found a 9% increase in clients reporting mental health problems in England. People's mental health problems can be made worse by practical issues such as losing a job or facing eviction.
